Special side-note: being one of the top three writers on MWTVG (at least until somebody else starts contributing) is no simple job, but this Midwest Guy is up to the challenge for you, our loyal fan. Thank you, mom… you birthed a legend.
Pretty slow night as far as my television tastes are concerned. Perusing through the network TV selections, I have no idea what any of those shows are nor do they sound interesting. There’s something important about naming a show effectively which is why I was so reluctant to watch 666 PARK AVENUE and why I will never stoop so low as to watch DON’T TRUST THE B…
Actually, I do know what NCIS is since I haven’t been completely living under a rock. But I always took NCIS as the awkward stepchild of CSI: WHATEVER which was a mere bastardization of LAW AND ORDER: ETC. Maybe I’m being too harsh, but NCIS never hooked me the way L&O always did…
Luckily after getting home from work, this Midwest TV Guy’s Midwest TV Wife made a giant pot of Midwest TV Chili and we all enjoyed an annual viewing of MONSTER HOUSE which is a family favorite near Halloween. After the kids were tucked comfortably in bed, it was time for some SONS OF ANARCHY.
SOA continued a phenomenally strong season tonight, and I am still impressed after 6 episodes by how much JIMMY SMITS brings to the table with his Nero Padilla character. Here’s hoping that his “Special Guest Star” status improves by a notch or two.
TOSH.0 had a web redemption for a male cheerleader trying out for the Denver Broncos. Not sure if its the chili talking, but I think Tosh is starting to sour on me. BRICKLEBERRY also taped on the DVR and I will probably let it erase via natural selection like it did last week.
I’m much more looking forward to tomorrow night’s lineup of SUPERNATURAL, AMERICAN HORROR STORY and SOUTH PARK. Are there any good Tuesday night shows I should be watching??
