Top Chef Announces New Judge

I’m going to let everyone in on a secret.  I am a huge fan of TOP CHEF.  I’ve been a fan since the beginning.  I just love the show.  I know the chefs are pretentious and they hate people like me (people who love Taco Bell and Arbys) but I don’t care.  The show hooks me in every week.

For season 10, the producers of TOP CHEF have announced that they are adding a new judge.  Joining the cast for the new season will be Wolfgang Puck.

He’s been a guest judge before so he’s familiar with the show.  As celebrity chefs go, Puck is a good one.  I’ll be interested in seeing how he does on a full season rather than just a guest appearance here and there.

As for the contestants, there is one Chef from Chicago.  Chrissy Cambra of Bar Pastoral in Chicago will be on the show.  As a MWTVG, I’ll be rooting for her.  Well, at least for now.  I don’t have any idea if she is a lunatic or not and if she’s a lunatic, no amount of Chicago loyalty can overcome that.

TOP CHEF premiers on the Bravo Network on November 7, at 9pm.

Interesting. Bar Pastoral opens on Nov 12th and is a couple blocks from my place. If Pastoral is any indication, it should be fabulous. But I can’t speak to lunatic tendencies…
