Netflix Receives Emmy Nominations

Netflix has broken ground as the first company to receive Emmy nominations for an online only show.  The incredibly outstanding Kevin Spacey drama House of Cards has received 9 nominations from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and Arrested Development received 3 nominations (including 1 for Jason Bateman in the lead actor category).  Hemlock Grove got in the game with 2 nominations of their own bringing the total number of Emmy nominations for Netflix to 14.  That is pretty ...Click for More

Hemlock Grove Renewed for a Second Season!

Just announced, HEMLOCK GROVE (read my review of season one) has been officially renewed for a second season by NETFLIX!  Propelled forward much more by fan enthusiasm than it was by critic ratings, we will be seeing more of the Godfrey family next year. Hemlock Grove – Season 1 Review

It has taken me a little while, but I have finally gotten through the entire first season of HEMLOCK GROVE.  Posting an entire batch of 13 episodes all at once sounds great in theory, but as silly things like ‘real life’ and ‘responsibilities’ take over to filch my time away from the finer things.
