Fans of THE JERSEY SHORE have no doubt been crying all over their tanning beds since their show was mercifully cancelled, but not to worry mouth-breathers, MTV is coming to the rescue.  They just announced a new reality show that will take the place of the guidos in their time slot.  Not content to make just guidos look bad, MTV will bring a new show that undoubtedly focuses on red necks and the crazy antics that red necks get themselves in to.  BUCK WILD will premiere on January 3 on MTV and judging from the cast picture, I can come up with a few of the fights that will happen on this show:

1. Someone stole Billy Ray’s Skoal Bandits.

2. Someone will wear Betty Sue’s Sunday goin’ to meetin’ boots without permission.

3. A big fight over who likes country music more.

4. A bigger fight over who like western music more.

5. A brawl over which look makes you look douchier, trucker hats or mullets.

These are just some of the whacky things that I’m sure will happen on this show.  Jersey Shore gave us GTL, what will Buck Wild give us?

I’d love to post the video for the trailer to this coming disaster, but even MTV is too ashamed to put it out anywhere other than their own website.  I’m forced to just link it for you so you can go and watch the preview here.

Congratulations people of West Virginia.  I’m sure you will be just as happy as New Jersey was to be represented by these slack jawed yokels, unless of course that really is how things are in West Virginia and being from the mid-west, it’s pretty much how I see it.

  1. You volunteered to take one for the team by covering The Bachelor so I am stepping up. I will cover this show! In fact, I hate to say it – I think it looks good.

Listen,we grew up in the same house so I know first hand about your background. All I’m saying is that Midwest white trash is only 1 step above redneck on the evolutionary scale, so don’t go hatin here.

Your review sounds like something Neil Young would say and as you may know, a good old southern man don’t need him around anyhow.

I have admitted that I have white trash roots but I believe I have (mostly) evolved above that.
