Louie Parody on SNL

Last night’s SNL was better than average as far as SNL goes and one of the better ones of the season.  I was irritated with Louis C.K.’s monologue since it was just a bit from his stand up act which I thought was very lazy of the SNL writers, but hey, he’s a stand up.  Why rock the boat?

The best skit of the night was the parody of his show LOUIE with him playing Abraham Lincoln (watch this fast, it’s posted on a non-Hulu site, Lorne Michael’s and his hordes of attorneys will be along shortly to have this clip taken down).

  1. Louis CK never fails to impress. After spending a week with the SNL cast and writers, the sketches produced were some of the best in years. It brings back memories of the first SNL episode in which another on of my heroes, George Carlin, hosted. Of course I wasn’t alive but, that doesn’t mean I can’t reminisce. I look forward to future guest appearances by CK.

I think he’s going to have plenty of time to host again because i think he is quitting his show.
