Did you spot it?  Come on.  It’s there.  There is hope for humanity after all.  Here I’ve been thinking all this time that based on America’s TV watching habits that there was just no hope for us and the Mayans were sure to be right.  Now that I’ve seen these numbers, I feel hope.
Did you figure it out?
Let me tell you.  2 BROKE GIRLS is the 12th ranked show for the week if you only look at the 18-49 group.  If you look at ALL viewers though, it doesn’t even make the top 25.
Now I would assume that the group that is older than 49 is out there trying to figure out how to make their VCR’s (yes, they still have VCR’s because they are old) stop flashing 12:00 so they can record the next episode of MATLOCK so that’s why they don’t watch 2 BROKE GIRLS and the under 18 group?  I don’t know.  SPONGE BOB?  PHINEAS AND FERB?  My kids are older now so I don’t exactly have my finger on the pulse on what kids think is cool these days but I don’t think I’m too far off.
In any event, we have the old people and the young people to thank for possibly saving humanity.  As for the rest of us in the 18-49 group, we all need to take a look at ourselves in the mirror and ask ourselves, “how do we turn a blind eye (should I point out the brilliant pun in that statement?  Yes I should.  I am a narcissist and I want to be recognized for everything I do) to 2 BROKE GIRLS?”
