Deadliest Catch

deadliest catchOne of my favorite reality shows is back tomorrow night.  Deadliest Catch premieres on The Discovery Channel April 16 at 8:00 for their 9th season.  Fans of Deadliest Catch will be excited to see what boats are coming back this season and what the crews have been up to.  Noticeably absent in the Deadliest Catch sneak peek provided by The Discovery Channel is the kid Captain Elliot Neese.  He’s apparently been having a ton of trouble lately, including owing $1 million dollars for crashing another boat, but he had tweeted that he would be there for the premiere:

Don’t worry Elliot fans, Discovery Channel is just trying to build some pre-premiere drama making it seem like Elliot won’t be around for the season but right on their own website, is Elliot and his crew of the Fishing Vessel Saga.  Elliott owes a debt of $1 million dollars to the owner of the boat he crashed so he is apparently out this season to make as much money as he can to pay that debt.

Here’s the sneak peek from The Discovery Channel:

This is one of my favorite shows too. There are some dumb things that they do on the show that are obviously scripted and forced but overall, it’s still one of the best reality shows out there. You can’t script The Bearing Sea.
