All 169 Episodes of Seinfeld Ranked

December 26, 2015 // 0 Comments

169 Episodes of Seinfeld Ranked Someone took the time to go through all 169 episodes of Seinfeld to rank them from worst to first. As with any list or any rankings, people will argue placement. This list is no different.  I think the biggest problem with this list is probably the methodology used to make the ranking choices. This caused the author to rank some pretty funny episodes much lower than I would have and ranked some much higher than I would have.  You won’t be surprised by ...Click for More

Fox Cancels The Mindy Project

May 7, 2015 // 0 Comments

Mindy Project Cancelled There is going to be a lot of news about shows in the next few days as networks make decisions on which shows will be getting picked up and which ones will be getting the ax. Fox came out today and announced one of the first cancellations with news that they are cancelling The Mindy Project. While it’s not a total surprise that they are cancelling this show, the ratings have been consistently terrible, I am still mildly surprised.  Few shows have been able to ...Click for More

Netflix Predicts the End of TV

November 28, 2014 // 0 Comments

Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said recently that he thinks the era of broadcast TV will last until around 2030 or so. Is that just the trash talk of an internet streaming TV company or is he right? I think a bit of both. I do think that we are in the beginning stages of a paradigm shift and have said so many times. That doesn’t make me a genius (I am a genius for many other reasons) because it’s obvious that things are changing. How much are they changing? From 2002 to 2012, there was ...Click for More

Great news for fans of excellent TV. The first season of The Blacklist is on Netflix. The Tick is Returning to Amazon

August 29, 2014 // 0 Comments

I lost a show that I am a big fan of yesterday with A&E’s crazy decision to cancel Longmire. Now I got news today that a show I thought was hysterical and canceled too soon may be coming back. There are rumors that The Tick is returning to Amazon and Patrick Warburton will be back in his leading role as The Tick. The Tick had just 1 season back in 2001 on Comedy Central but that one season was brilliant. It has enough of a cult following that Amazon is apparently serious about ...Click for More

Community Season 6 Trailer

August 17, 2014 // 0 Comments

Yahoo! recently released a Community season 6 trailer and it has forced me to come to terms with the fact that they did in fact save this show from cancellation. I was ignoring the news hoping that if I didn’t think about it or talk about it, that it wouldn’t be true and Community could die the death it deserved. Seeing this trailer forced me to come to terms with the horrible news and since I am never one to suffer TV injustices in silence, I am about to transfer this pain to you, ...Click for More

Community Lives on Yahoo!

July 1, 2014 // 0 Comments

Please don’t mistake the exclamation point at the end of the title for me being excited by this news. Community lives on Yahoo! has an exclamation point because the site is actually Yahoo! so it’s just part of the title. If you haven’t heard, Yahoo! did in fact agree to host a 6th season of the cancelled NBC show Community. Community nerds are all breathless and excited that this show was saved but in all honesty, this is a mistake. The show has not been good for a while and ...Click for More

They really do have a series coming soon called BoJack Horseman.  All 12 episodes of the first season will be released on Netflix on August 22. Before you immediately dismiss it, you should know that BoJack Horseman stars Will Arnett and Aaron Paul. It is an adult themed animated series that will be the first animated series for Netflix. Arnett stars in the series as ...Click for More

Community to Hulu?

May 29, 2014 // 0 Comments

Deadline reported yesterday that there are currently talks underway that could possibly bring the cancelled NBC comedy Community to Hulu. The talks between Sony Entertainment and Hulu could possibly result in one more 13-episode season of the show that is now being called a cult favorite. Series creator Dan Harmon doesn’t seem to be terribly enthused about the possibility but seems to be going along with the talks. He said on his blog yesterday, “I’m not going to be the guy that ...Click for More
