around the web for 2-7-14A long, long time ago
I can still remember how that music used to make me smile
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those people dance
And maybe they’d be happy for a while

But February made me shiver
With every paper I’d deliver
Bad news on the doorstep
I couldn’t take one more step

I can’t remember if I cried
When I read about his widowed bride
But something touched me deep inside
The day the music died

– Don McLean

While you try to guess how old Midwest Mo is, let’s get the news from around the web for 2-7-14.

  1. While I appreciate the fact that Rolling Stone chose a Phil Hartman skit to top their list, in the end they are completely wrong about their rankings for SNL skits. The greatest SNL skit of all time is The Sinatra Group. I hope that the author of the Rolling Stone article ends up in one of your state sponsored reeducation camps.
