Lift up your head
Wash off your mascara
Here take my Kleenex
Wipe that lipstick away
Show me your face
Clean as the morning
I know things were bad
But now they’re OK

Suddenly Seymour is standing beside you
You don’t need no make-up
Don’t have to pretend
Suddenly Seymour is here to provide you
Sweet understanding
Seymour’s your friend

– Little Shop of Horrors

Well that sucked last night. It was awesome to be at a World Series game at Wrigley Field but the Cubs were again shut out. How many is that now in the playoffs? Too many for a team that can score runs so easily. Whatever. Let’s get to the news from around the web for 10-29-16 before I go jump off a building.

  • Madonna, Kate Moss, and Naomi Campbell were out partying in London recently and supposedly they are partying like teen age girls. Let me tell you that there is nothing about any of these women that resembles teen age girls in any way. I mean seriously. Kate Moss is only 42 but look at her. That is a very hard 42. They may want to hold on to their youth but it has definitely slipped out of their wrinkled liver spotted hands. (DailyMail)
  • Twitter purchased looping video service Vine a couple of years ago and just announced recently that they are killing the service. Kids everywhere are upset because they love Vine. Adults everywhere are confused because they’ve never heard of it. Vine is a social media site that lets you put up 6 second videos that loop. Yes it’s just that dumb. There is no way to monetize it effectively since the only people who use it are kids without any money so Twitter is killing it. Before it goes though, here are 25 Vines you should see before it dies. Really, you just need to see #8. I can’t stop watching that one. God loves dads. (Distractify)
  • Hey Gofugyourself, how dare you say anything negative about Kate Hudson. She is a goddess. You apologize right now. (GoFugYourself)
  • Is Mariah Carey the craziest ex of all ex’s? I think she might be. (LaineyGossip)
  • Going braless? Ok sure. I can support that. See what I did there? That’s some good old professional humor. (BadSentinel)
  • Is there any Halloween costume that can’t be turned in to a slutty version? Also, why do adults get so in to Halloween? Sure I can support a candy holiday but adults dressing up and ruining the day? No sir. I can’t allow it. What was I talking about? Oh yea. Girls in slutty costumes. (TheChive)

Today’s music video comes to us from this week’s episode of one of my favorite TV shows, The Goldbergs. They played this song at the end of another great episode and I remembered the movie that this came from. I didn’t appreciate Little Shop of Horrors in 1986 being a 13 year old thinking that this was a comedy starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin. I do appreciate the movie now and the voice of Ellen Greene. This is Suddenly Seymour from the movie Little Shop of Horrors released on December 19, 1986.
